I don't do fashion, I AM fashion...

As a young girl I feel the rat race is not letting me breath! True how can I?
A girl from upper middle class family which is also known as “bourgeois” has a lot of boon and bane! It is herculean to explain peer commonwealth that life is not all about “fashion” and “fashion” and
“Fashion”
The first I see as a college student is how to carry self??? I have a gargantuan competition- a great responsibility of decency and money constrains, they are in a way part and parcel of current living process!!(Sighs) If we drop back to my interest in “fashion” :(
I am a girl who could never understand the “FASHION” statement and the urge to be sexy in society as my clothes were purchased by my parents, I do not complain about it! It was amazing to go out and shop with them as then you seriously do not have to worry about this stupid thing knows as almighty- money! But the requirement of being sexy -hot -Pataki were not in there dictionary
My parents especially my mother believed in the concept of
1. Purchasing good qualities of cloths
2.  Dresses with a minimum exposure or translucent were rejected on the first sight (hell if they were in trend…)
3. Dark colors were preferred as I would make them dirty soon
4. My father loves color blue so if he was selecting, it had to end up into BLUE
5. Long kurties and t-shirts and shirts were encouraged
6. Their was no concept of matching accessories
7. A reliable foot wears with a good brand and preferred color black, white and red were bought as they would match with all dresses
8. looking smart was very essential
9. Last but not the least I was least interested in “fashion” me

“Fashion changes, but style endures.”

I was really very happy with all this and felt gaga after each and every shopping sphere as I trusted them and were least bothered to be aware and my friends were also sailing in the same boat! Hmmm as kid I differently perceived it in many fancy dress competitions (LOL)
For my entire time I have been more busy in playing games like lock and key to institute level match of basket ball game to sprints to high jumps ! And this has turned me less toned, strong bones, scars full of body!  (Doh!!)
And a kid with leadership qualities, good planning and bla bla bla …
.
Right now in my post graduation it simply refers to a life I had lived as a waste! Here they prefer to be hap! Mod! Stylo! In “fashion”! Trendy! Glamorous!  And So forth
I would not consider myself a little less but yes I am out of stock for sure ;)
Again Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.
Earlier I lived with a concept of believe in who you are! What matters is a good heart! I look beautiful the way I am! Simplicity is the best beauty!
But then hopes shattered into vein and I found it how important it is to carry you with time and “fashion”
Now! Now! I don’t say that former way is wrong neither were my parents , it was just that they always went for a sober “fashion” but here fashion has been dismantled by the term sexy and smart , you actually need to be both !
To be smarter you need brilliant trendy dresses … amazing money … good brands …. And loved ones who pay heavy bills!!
Once in a while even my parents are happy does that but not every day... week... month... they find it irrational and a concept with an arm and a leg!
They do not find it crafty to purchase 10 dresses and matching 10 foot wear and 10 accessories: O
They would always give me extra green gravy if I would spend them on books, food and some learning!
But I need to keep up with the “fashion”!
So I developed few awry rules!! Sharing them here may only help few more me to be happy after little shopping!!
1. I keep on a vigilant visit to big brands, and look for different trends and style on
  • I prefer to alter my old cloths and trim them to latest fashion
3. being to whole sale markets bring a great relief of bless!!
  • Mix match rocks! As Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street; fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening....
6. The biggest mantra is to be confident on what I carry or wear!
  •  Purchasing cheap but amazing shoes does help in proving to be posh!
7. Bag plays a beautiful part purchase more but cheap
  • The old “fashion” certainly comes back so save old!!
9. Purchase more t-shirts or shirts more than jeans as the jeans are rarely noticed!!
  •  Keep changing hair dressings
11. Wear good accessories and they are more flashy and noticeable!
  • Wear good perfume!! As “A woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future.”

It is very important to realize that a health body can keep a healthy brain so eat good healthy food!! This will bring shine to your skin and give you a fresh look! This is an essential key to look good. And wearing makeup is occasionally good, if you still want to; prefer a light make up for the most beautiful makeup of a woman is passion. But cosmetics are easier to buy...!
Remember: You should love yourself
Make your own style statement and when you mix -match and wear you sometimes end up being a "FASHION" statement! :P :P
(wINk)

All the very best to survive with grace!
PS: I would always love some tips for myself! A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous...

We Try To Be ....

Waiting for valentine week ... here it is ~~
Well we all have grown to become a big modern, civilized and innovative, I don't see an issue in being once rather the trend suggests being as said "changing with time is the key to survival". But lost in the big hole of competition, show off and tender liking for humanity, we have lost the track of being what we are.
God has given you one face, and you make yourself another.  ~William Shakespeare can't curse the other face and say it has no evidence in today's world well it stays much of importance than being a good person ( :P) !!! I saw this movie ABCD (Bollywood) - hardly makes good movie!! But this one was a worth show, the reason stands the effect of convincing that how being ethical, following the correct path, believing in GOD can make you the winner at the end of the match! (LOL) The question is does it really exists or just a filmy drama: O

Now I would answer it by again connecting it to the beginning line say Valentine... A celebrator who has been purchasing gifts or preparing the pomp's and shows must answer me "did you go for celebrating republic day, just a month ago?"
Alas! I knew it! (Neither did I) and the reason is: “I don't find it WORTH!”
So we say we are generation next celebrating teacher’s day to father's day to some mother -in -law day too ... but it takes hell lot of effort to even remember whether 26 Jan is a republic or Independence Day! I would again shut your finger down by repeating, that it is not bad to be modern, know more, think in a better educated civilized way but yes it should be not biased or restricted to only the side in trend!
I love my country so I feel a bit emotional to the republic word (LMAO) but I do not mean to tell you to follow the Indian Events but I feel that it is very important to
1. be equal
2. Know the roots
3. Not follow TREND but instinct
Now a days the child of age 10 knows about girl friend system but hardly knows the story of our beloved Goddess Parvati
Knows the harry potter series but is least aware of panchatantra stories
Knows how to operate a upgraded mobile handset but a little about reading the mother language HINDI
I do not object the development towards the better trends but it is a misconception that says that children brought up in the trendy ways would have better style of living, more competitive and better KIDS
Refreshing our old kids were not Idiots we had geniuses in every field let it be math’s to literature to any!!
Well a balance and equilibrium should be maintained with a little trench of old school teaching to a little spice of modern ups

The thing we have not aped is ETHICS because we thought that we are already good at it so totally ignored it as an old school theory and jumped to a new one!
Respecting a girl , being honest , not killing someone for your own benefits, having healthy competition,  sports man ship is more over a subjects knows as moral science  in schools !( sob)
Everything had big fat bad baby and a good angle so the concept of nuclear families did made things Independent and more civilized but the old concept had its own good paternal grandmother and father to teach the new kid how to lead a perfect life without being a selfish worm !
So this time when you scroll your laptop to be a good son or daughter by wishing your parent's for events like happy " anniversary , birthday , mothers/fathers " day ... do search a little about something known as lord Rama, Diwali , why we celebrate holi or how did India got free from English rulers ! This will help you to be rich in a subject known as ETHICS as the fact still remains that our country is really rich in heritage and before the foreigners come and learn it, you grab your hand and be real MODERN baby, kiddo, the teen or a fancy adult!! Who knows the right and wrong! Who can teach how to score best in competition and become a smart grasshopper but not harm the other in the same race! To be a boss of respect women and not be a dog to look at his secretary as a making out object!!

Guys we need to be modern but NOT forget what we were famous for!!!
"Trying to be someone, wastes the person what you are"

PS: I really love my country and love to celebrate Valentine week!

Love to be One

I have always treated the word as a pride, distinction; venerate it for being a GIRL! Life has always been a spell of luck and has always lived up to make me feel as a better human being.... it is like bats in the belfry! As a soul who gives birth to a life, which gets the apotheosis of being a daughter, a sister, a mother! Treating one with responsibilities and efforts has always led to be a better human being and will always teach me how to be tender, caring and a lively soul. To talk more on glorious history of being a girl I would start with social organization which was created out of the mother- child relationship initially as a matrilineal clan system, long before the social organization became a norm...
"Man is a social animal" I read this line long back as a kid and since  then I had piped down my perceptions of its exigency in today's cataloged era and the beginning alpha lady!! Stated how: she teaches you to be a new born baby, bring up a child and teaches to drill down a man into social animal. How important is a women in any society is arduous to define.
I live in a small country of a big continent as INDIA... I love my country and my society but an agitation of social norms, structure and constrain will never let live the word GIRL! Though the social domain has produced a new inception of LET LIVE GIRLS but the elderly apprehensions will not change so easily. It is been a decades to reform the thought and it will always be the same in here. I am not a frustrated girl but a victim of being the minority, a feast for dogs, and an object to admire sole property of her father, brother or husband and thing to work in KITCHEN! LOL! This all started up perhaps to save Indian women to shield from the barbarous Muslims invaders but the concept of developing and changing with the era is fallen between the crack of Gray mindset and old dogma...
Well it is not that bad also! At least I am educated - a revolutionary-its, fashion-its, an actor, an administrator, a sports -girl, a chef! (Sigh!)
Amazingly if a GIRL stands up to a position or record her name flashes up time and again to be an achievement! Well recently when I grew up...found words like molestation, eve teasing to be true! (Scared)
Yes I am a timid little girl, aghast, from the cruel beings...I am scared to wear cloths, fear full to move out in night, scared to eat, startled to drink and neither can fight back as I have been created to love, to care, take pain and to continue a clan of species...
My built up is not to make reflection in what is wrong in society but for a fact that how marvelous it can be a life full of will and freedom.
I cannot survive without this society more isolation has led to insanity (screams!) but this commonality is handicap with altercations like infant homicide, depriving education for the reason GIRL, dowry rapped in a firm parasite of caste, under developed mind set of not letting the women work and only a machine to give birth to babies, fornication! I know I know!! The list compendious and the list are as long as your arms! But I myself got a bit nostalgic to write further!
The question is not why but when! How long can be a king (once upon a time) is blamed to frame a postulate and hover between a hypocritical acumen of modernization and the parampara ( uufff!!!?)

Life is not a fairy tale! I learnt it as soon as I turned form a GIRL to a LADY!! Whenever I see a young girl standing in a queue I clock a grown up lady having her nose to grind-stone and fighting for her abandon, her leeway, exemption!
Why am I inquisitive to compare and look deep into how it started? As for social norms state... government protects, social workers save, people develop, men think...still I can not breathe fancy-free and live a life camouflaged?? (Bugged :O )
Never ending stories!! Never ending malady!!
So YES! I do have adulation for being a GIRL neither I wait for reforms. I do live life blessed and fancy. To thank my mother for a good character and will constitution that I can think with grey matter developed and to give a sense of right and wrong... exposure to learn and culture ( not to criticise !! LOL!! ) to be a perfect social girl! It’s not a social game GIRL but it is in fact a verdict to blame and learn! I did my part to tell you again to fight back ... be circumspect... grow... faith... style and carry an attitude to produce a better society!
It is not fare and personally I believe in theory "TO NOT TO BLAME OTHERS" to always pin point figures at the opposite counterpart THE MALE but to get out this vicious circle and help others to be FREE!!
I did my part!! And waiting for rest to....
PS: I PRAY FOR A FREE SOUL, FURTHER LIVING... WHO WERE AND ARE BEING VICTIMIZED!

A Girl On The Court !

A faded memory recalls my old - best day, as a kid, 14 years, I was standing alone in a corner of a big poll headed up with a basket, no! Not a fruit basket! Though it had a net!! I looked up saw a big ball bouncing over my head and stared back to the rectangular cemented court.
Basketball courts come has different shapes and sizes and colors. In the NBA, the court is 94 feet by 50 ft (28.65m by 15.24m). UNDER INTERNATIONAL BASKETBALL FEDERATION (FIBA) rules, the court is minutely smaller, measuring exactly 28 m by 15 m (91'10.4" by 49'2.6"). A high school court is slightly smaller, at 84' by 50' and some elementary schools have courts measuring 74' x 42'.It is a tough game of rules and minimum players required is 10.
I was a girl, a small town girl, brought up in a city which was in Bihar, till 14th November 2000 and suddenly grew up as a capital, on 15th November 2000, of Jharkhand- Ranchi. I love my city; it is the most amazing I have ever been into. But as a girl for a game like Basketball - very difficult to
1. Find another girl companion who wants to learn Basketball
2. 10 girls!!! An aspiration
3.girls DO NOT play masculine games in small cities
4.being a girl in India, you actually CAN NOT play with a bunch of boys!! (Duh)
Yes, watching the game from a regular distance was allowed, and so was I watching. I hardly knew about the game, the rules but what I knew was I loved watching it! It fascinated me. That night I couldn't sleep as I was planning how to find girls in my colony and at last found few. We were ready to play and learn, but again I forgot GIRLS DO NOT PLAY!
It was a disaster, and even I skipped my till now unknown- passion.
2 years later, cycling getting back to my home, I saw a bunch of known boys playing the same bouncy net ball game. This time I was a, so called grown-up (though the definition varied from situation to situation!). As a lady I decided to walk into the court of 84' by 50' and LEARN and PLAY!
I did so (LOL) started eventually punching the 22 ounce ball with my palm on the cemented ground. I would laugh now on it! I didn't knew how to dribble also ...
A boy (a little known, as we were in the same tuition)   asked "no sports shoes?"
I looked down and smile "was not prepared to play"
he: "you will hurt yourself"
I removed my chappal (slippers), bare foot ran to the other half of the court , my foot almost tore its first layer of delicate skin but nothing was supposed to stop me. I begged them to make me play. They allowed.... (Shit!!!) I was a beginner and my foot was hurting! That day what I could learn was running from one side of the court to another. I continued going and did learn the rule and the tactics of the game.
A small city is a tough place to do odds; people find it out of the books of moral, ethics! (Grins)
It became the talk of the town! One girl playing with ten boys (OUCH!)... aahh !! Don’t worries I don't lose hopes easily!
My first task for now was not to learn game but to find GIRLS WHO PLAY... In a week’s time I did find 3 and they are the best ever know buddies to me. I always used to reckon WHY??!! And now I know how... getting into the same team made our trust, bond, likes, and tolerance better!!!(Wink)
As for now, it was a common episode "my parents were not happy by society talks and my game" and I had a passion to learn (though they never stopped me)! And I knew that they loved my game but Indian society is a curse on young generation THEY DO NO LET YOU GROW. I can actually fill pages on this right now, as my emotions are back to form!
Apart! We girls started to learn (PS: the school coach was against girl - boy mixed team or girl playing perhaps)
I often had to tolerate humiliations as I was not trained neither did I have a trainer. Hence I decided to go to BBC (as we all named it Basket Ball Court) an hour early and come back an hour late. I had started observing good players and when the court had only bats to accompany I used to practice!!! It took me 14 days, when team mates started acting different, by poking me up in their teams and I was not left as the last, the only option on the court, it was an achievement in itself!!We played at BBC for 4 long years... had wonderful friends (mixed both boys and girls and it was STILL the talk of the town!!) WHO CARES!!

BBC

I found changes, in the society, in the ladies, in the GIRLS! They wanted to PLAY!!
Gradually girls or I would say kids started joining the game a bit younger... but from the only to a bunch of girls was a breath taking moment! Some where I give myself A little credit for it ... just a little but yeah I was bagged by a start in the journey of learning
School days passed ... I was my institute ( BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, MESRA) Basketball team caption and a was considered as best team player. I experienced two things
1 You can't cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water
2 To bring change you have to dirty your own hands, then you may have followers
My game is still my passion and my love and for a change now the same couch has opened an academy where BOTH girls and boys (of all ages) learn the brilliant game at BBC

LET THE GAME BEGIN!!!

(THIS WAS SPECIALLY DEDICATED TO ALL GIRLS WHO WANTS TO LEARN NEW)
PS: I MISS YOU ALL!! THEY WERE MY BEST DAYS

AFRO CIRCUS ....

Chris rock would have never thought that an animated character, for which he was vocal cord, will become a hero in real life. Central park zoo was a hit in New York City, Alex the star performer and the crowd attract magnet! Still my hero is MARTY.
Why I decided to write my second blog on this funny animated character is because he is actually an inspiration for me! Strange curse of luck he has which is commonly shared (blush)
MARTY has a weird optimism in all situations. He smiles in space and laughs in past, speaks senseless, thinks stupid!! Do I do the same (sigh!!), perhaps, but being different is not uncommon. We all want to be different ... that is the reason why we shop different, read different, spend endless money on brands with USP of providing DIFFERENT product. I never thought was it even worth? And why would I? I enjoy the feel of being different from a crowd of sheep's and bulls. I prefer the smell of thinking different and consider it to be an achievement   , rare found in people (wink)...
Yeah! MARTY!! Is a proven friend in need, a friend indeed!! When Alex was trapped by his loss of self approval a control...MARTY stood back! It is difficult to find one in today's life and people are prejudice. They find it an abnormal substance to be trust worthy, honest, caring, loyal and unbiased. Politics is involved as a part and parcel, out of politician’s one thing countrymen really adapted, is penetrating politics into daily lives, manipulation as a daily booster and power of analysis to every avatar! Hardly matters that may ruin emotions and expert human values...
MARTY strikes again in my thought process as a cartoon character he rocked as an adventure ... a risk taker!! We... We do take risks... it is not funny (surprised)! As the first life lover STUDENTS we take risk!! For now the theory is revised STUDENTS are inspired to be smart... smarter than their parents! Yes they do take risks ... risks to study (lol) and if failed suicide! As simple... as grownups we again take the risk of getting married if not worked, we divorce!! Isn’t it amazing!! Lost are those days when humans read epics and moral injected literature, to stand prig, to be immortal in thoughts, when words were the architect of personality.
Thoughts pouring the stripes- black over white or white over black of MARTY has en-carved an impossible energy of dancing guru, he is (I am not kidding)!!! In case you have admired the movie MADAGASCAR. Then you must have realized his dance and passion over dancing odd!! "CIRCUS” is my personal favorite. I simply love it!! Aah!! Love the moves... no complexes in this readers... it is simple love affected dance, which I use it to express (in my daily life) as an energy booster and many a times dancing on the beat and rock around.
MARTY brings scarlet effect and sharpens my reflexes (PS: I am not promoting the movie!)... I learn to close my eyes for bad hurting individual soul, breath harder for tough times and smile back at stupid aimless comments and insults
(Shivering) I dared to pin point! But alas! I have to find a friend! A risk taker! A human!! In a cartoon animated character!!
MARTY YOU ROCK!!

Shivani

Star start up

We all love to find new things , new places , new love (wink) , new stories ...
The creative inside is a little kid who always wants to bring the naughty one outside. I have always seen people looking for changes. Let us move our camera to the newly functioned couple.. in today's era, it is so easy to know doors and say "I LOVE YOU" and get into a relation. Bored .. irritated ... fucked up .. it is not working any more !!! so common they are , in a years span , the love dies .. STRANGE .. and then they move ON !
Not only in the strange to find new love every day but also people getting BORED form their jobs .. pets .. places .. (doh) the list is endless.
To me the old world function is a better phenomenon and the concept of staying back, pushing more, harder path .. some of us (Today) call it stubborn... has actually planted a thought of  requirement to grow up a bit . Lets stop saying Move On .. Fuck Off .. and look for a better life.

To be a human what we first need to learn is Stability ..
